The 2022 edition of Bandera Football Camp saw approximately 85 participants from Kindergarten through incoming ninth graders register for the three day event held at Bandera High School’s practice field.
After three days of drills, fun and learning, coaches got together and made their choices for the best of the best in four age divisions and two categories in the Obstacle Course and Punt Pass and Kick competitions.
“We had a blast! Our annual football camp signifies the beginning of football season! We are excited about all of the Bulldogs that our coaches got to meet and teach this week. I want to thank the coaching staff for the best football camp yet. I am also proud of each of the Bulldogs that worked so hard in the heat to get better, hard work that will pay off. We believe in being physical, disciplined and conditioned and we certainly got all three of those things this week. I want to say thank you to Warriors Heart for sponsoring the camp and to all of the parents that allowed their children to participate,” Bandera Varsity Head Coach and ISD Athletic Director, Joel Fontenot-Amedee said.
