Great Texans inducted into Texas Heroes Hall of Honor
Legendary rodeo clown and bull fighter Leon Coffee; Frances Kaiser - the first woman to be elected as Kerr County sheriff; and, posthumously, beloved Bandera business owner Mary McGroarty were inducted into the Frontier Times Museum Texas Heroes Hall of Honor.
The ceremony and reception was held Friday evening, lead by Russell Hevenor. The displays showcasing artifacts and memorabilia from each inductee’s life and career will be in the museum’s Hall of Heroes exhibit until July 2023.
The Frontier Times Museum is located at 510 13th Street.
