City council, mayor seats open for election

Two council seats and the position of mayor for the City of Bandera are open for election. The last day to turn in an application for a place on the ballot is Aug. 22, at 5 p.m. Election Day is Nov. 8.
The term for each office is two years, which expires in November 2024.
Election packets are available at at City Hall, 511 Main Street, Bandera.
