Skeletal remains found this afternoon on Red Bluff Ranch Road have been sent to Central Texas Autopsy. Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King said the remains were burned, and wrapped inside a tarp or blanket.
King said people who live in the area off of FM 1283 were walking, saw the covering, and discovered the remains. They called the Sheriff’s Office at 5:09 p.m.
“It is not a common traveled road,” King said.
Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Lynn Holt ordered the autopsy.
