Local authorities are investigating the disappearance of Norma Espinoza, 63. Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King said she was reported missing on Aug. 12 by her daughter, who last saw her in their Bandera home on Broad Oak Drive, off Polly Peak Drive.
Espinoza is 5’8”, and weighs about 145 pounds. She has brown eyes and dark hair.
Also under continued investigation is the disappearance of Jordan Tompkins, 25, who was last seen April 22 walking alone on PR 37 in Lakehills. She stands 5’3”, and is about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, short dark-blonde hair and tattoos.
Community members have expressed concern that the remains of two Bandera County residents were recently found and positively identified, while two more people remain missing. However King said no evidence presented thus far indicates the cases are related.
Pipe Creek resident Sean Duffy, 56, was reported missing July 16. His remains were found Aug. 17, off of FM 1283. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Lakehills resident Brittany McMahon, 33, was reported missing June 19. Her remains were found July 3, off of Old Loop 173 in Bandera. King said investigators concluded no criminal activity was involved, and the case is closed.
