Bandera Middle School Cross Country Report
By Jess Edwards
BMS Coaching staff
After a decent performance on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Ingram, with the seventh grade girls and the eighth grade girls placing third and the eighth grade boys placing second, every single Bulldog runner set a personal best at the River City Believers Academy XC Invitational in San Antonio Saturday.
This course was very flat and perfect for running a personal best, if you were able to navigate around the other 200 or so runners that were trying to pull off the same feat, and the BMS teams rose to the challenge.
At this meet, our seventh and eighth grade boys combined to make a team, placing 13th out of 18 teams and our seventh and eighth grade combined girls team (made up of mostly seventh grade girls) placed fourth out of 11 teams.
The BMS Bulldog cross country teams have a well-earned Saturday off this week.
Bandera Little League
The Bandera Little League will hold their general membership meeting and elections on Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. at the BEC community room. More info to come in the next few weeks.
