First-graders create art while learning about the color wheel

Kathleen Bryant’s first-grade art students are in a Halloween state of mind. While learning about analogous colors on the color wheel, her students created adorable watercolor monsters.
The kids chose two analogous colors, then used watercolor paints and a drinking straw to blow the paint on paper to create the body of the monsters.
