Cross-Country
Braden Cox, Felix Diaz, Albert Robinson, Ruben Ruiz-Palacios, Hudson Jackson, Filimon Quintero and Kyle Moore finished with team bronze at the Region IV meet held in Corpus Christi earlier this week, and the Bandera Bulldogs are headed back to State!
The Bulldogs, led by Cox who finished ninth overall, finished behind a stout La Feria Lions squad that had their five points earners all in the top 16, and 17 points behind the Boerne Grayhounds.
The 5K event, showcasing 24 teams and 182 runners, was one of four regional qualifiers for the UIL Cross-Country State Championships that will be held at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock onriday and Saturday, November 4 and 5.
Bandera will be looking to improve on last year’s sixth place finish as they run at 9 a.m. on Friday.

Bandera hosted Carrizo Springs for the last home game of the season Monday night.
All four teams will travel to Del Rio on Saturday with hopes of coming home with a win to end our seasons.
Eighth grade
“A”
The Lady Bulldogs started off strong, but were unable to hold off Carrizo Springs, losing in two sets 20-25 and 13-25.
Mental toughness is a skill that we will be continuing to work on so that they will be able to persevere through anything.

Your Lady Bulldogs came out with the win in their final home volleyball game against Carrizo Springs.
It was a tough and thrilling battle, but they pulled through and we are so proud of these girls for not giving up and fighting until the end. The set scores were 25-23 and 25-21.
Xoi Cook served up 13 points and five aces, Milesia Casas had three aces and Kinley Lake, Autumn Prater and Hannah Halsey each had two aces.
Seventh grade
“A”
In a nail biter of a match, Bandera came away with a loss in three sets.
Set one saw Bandera come out strong and get the win, 25-22. Pyper Barnard was on fire with two stuff blocks and Isabella Pace was killing it on defense with seven digs.
In the second set, the team got too comfortable and lost,13-25 to force a third set that we lost, 13-15.
The coaching staff is very excited about the progress the girls are making in transitioning on defense and court knowledge.

The last home game for team ended with a win against Carrizo Springs on Monday night. We lost the first set 23-25, won the second 26-24, and took the third set 15-6.
Leighann Spangler had a great night on serving and Ella Vollmer had a nice attack during the game.
