Bandera Middle School Breakdown
By Salvador Gallegos Jr.
BMS coaching staff
Thursday saw the Bandera Middle School football teams traveling to Carrizo Springs for their final game of the season.
The seventh grade Bulldogs saw some success running the ball early, but Carrizo’s tough defense would keep the Bulldogs off of the board. Ultimately the Bulldogs would fall to Carrizo Springs by a score of 28-0.
We are very proud of the improvement made by this team from the beginning of the year to now and are looking forward to working towards next season.
The eighth grade Bulldogs got off to a lightning fast start on offense with a touchdown run on their first play of the game by Breydan Gherman. Dalton Parks and Gherman would each get another touchdown before the half making the score 22-6.
Parks would rush for another touchdown in the fourth quarter and Ruffin Scartocci would score on a successful two-point conversion. The Bulldogs would go on to win the game 30-6.
We are very proud of this group and their dedication and hard work to get better each week of the season.
