Medina ISD
After stopping Nueces Canyon, 62-0, the 28th ranked Medina Bobcats finished their season unbeaten at 10-0 (4-0) and will face the Chester Yellowjackets (7-3, 2-1) in the first round of the UIL playoffs in Temple.
Both teams scored over 500 points on the season (Medina 606 to Chester's 531), but on the defensive side Medina gave up just 118 points to Chester’s 268.
The winner of this contest will face the victor of the Jonesboro vs. Menard game in the second round.
