Give and receive an earful of Christmas at Canadian Brass Concert

Contributed

Coming on Dec. 15 to the Samuel V. Champion High School Auditorium, Canadian Brass gives you the opportunity to gift yourself, your friends, and family with a magical night of masterful music performed by “the men who put brass on the map!”
While the songs may be instantly recognizable, the signature sound is wholly unique. Canadian Brass has been performing their unusual blend of strictly brass instruments world-wide for more than four decades. They arrive just in time to open the 11th season of Boerne Performing Arts with a holiday special event to share with friends and family.
This talented group is well-known for their engaging stage presence and rapport with audiences. Their lively dialogue in no way detracts from their high standards for musical excellence or from their mission to bring the sound and excitement of brass music to new audiences around the globe. Education plays a key role in the story of Canadian Brass and each member is dedicated to training the next generation of brass players.
In addition to their evening performance, they will be meeting with students from Boerne and Champion High Schools for a masterclass. The lobby of Champion Auditorium will be bustling with student participation as part of this exciting evening with students offering concessions, displaying artwork and presenting a performance by the Champion High School Choir prior to the show and during intermission.
Previews of all artists are available at www.BoernePerformingArts.com where you can purchase individual tickets ($60 - $40 - $30 - $20 student), season packages, and holiday special event tickets. For questions, please call the Boerne Performing Arts Message Line at 830-331-9079.
