After an extremely long day of competition, junior Lillian Dean took third place in Poetry and the senior duo of Katelyn Mendez and Elijah Sarazua won third in Policy Debate.
Two freshmen that competed but didn’t place were Alyssa Brown in Poetry and Carter Rissmiller in International Extemporaneous Speaking.
“Both of these students are extremely talented and have very promising careers in forensics,” advisor Emily Huber said.
