Singing in the Saddle continues an annual Christmas tradition this Saturday
On a horse, in a wagon, from your car, it does not matter…bring your voice, bring your guitar and your fiddle too.
On Saturday, Dec. 17, anyone and everyone are welcome for Singing in the Saddle, which will gather at noon and head out at 1 p.m. for Christmas caroling. Trucks and trailers park on Montague Drive and Main Street, in the lot across from the Old Longhorn Saloon.
Carolers will make their way to both Bandera nursing homes/rehabilitation centers, the Vaqueros Cabins, 11th Street Cowboy/Cowgirl Bar, and in front of the Bandera County courthouse.
Everyone is welcome to dress in their favorite Christmas wear, and deck out their horses and cars.
Afterward, celebrate at the Bandera Beverage Barn pavilion for chili, cornbread, side dishes and BYOB. It’s a potluck, so please feel free to bring a dish.
The Bandera Cowgirls will lead the event. For more information, call Debra Slate at 830-688-3063 or Karen Osman at 210-846-4116.
