Cowboy Mardi Gras events, street closures begin
The 18th annual Cowboy Mardi Gras parade is set to hit Main Street this Saturday, Feb. 11. Festive floats will cruise through town beginning at noon, and spectators are advised to secure their spot early. Street closures will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Following the parade, do a little shopping with the arts and crafts vendors on the courthouse lawn - they’ll be set up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Street closures, beginning Friday, Feb. 10, include:
-11th St. will be closed to vehicular traffic from Cedar St. to Cypress St. beginning Friday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. and ending Sunday, Feb. 12, at 6 a.m.
- Cedar St. will be closed to vehicular traffic from the corner of 402 Main to the entrance of Arkey Blues Silver Dollar. This is the portion of Cedar St. located next to Kickback Korner, beginning Saturday, Feb. 11, at 7 a.m., and ending Sunday, Feb. 12, at midnight.
