Bandera library director appointed to state committee

The Bandera Kronkosky Public Library is proud to announce the appointment of Library Director Mauri Guillen Fagan to the Texas Library Association Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
This is a three-year appointment to the statewide EDI committee that oversees policies, procedures and resources for Texas libraries in their commitment to building inclusive collections and programming. The EDI committee also provides oversight and direction for TLA’s continuing education and professional development for equity and inclusion.
The library board would like to extend our congratulations to her for this appointment and we look forward to her contributions both to our community and the field of librarianship in the future.
