The Bandera Ham Rodeo has been postponed. Much-needed rain and less-needed cold temperatures have put a damper on plans for this Saturday, and organizers have pushed the date back to April 1.
Gates will open at 9 a.m., the event will begin at 11 a.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, kids between 5 and 12 years old are $5, kids under 5 are free. Registration fees and vendors are cash only.
Money raised this year will be used to continue the rodeo each year. Additional funds, if available, will be allocated to local non-profits and charity drives during the holidays.
Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bandera-ham-rodeo-2023-tickets-513445769117
The Boys & Girls Club of Bandera County is raising money for daily programs at all three units, such as member of the week program, member of the month program and fun Friday programs by selling rubber pigs for the new Pig Toss event. The rubber pigs are for sale at one for $5, eight for $20. Call the BGC for more information at 830-796-8109.
