Bandera City Council Member Jerry Russe has announced his resignation. Effective mid- to late-June, Russe will vacate his seat to move closer to his family.
“They’re all centralized in the Houston area,” he said.
Russe will wrap up his second term on the council, during which
he served as mayor pro tem.
“We have a good council,” Russe said. “We don’t agree on everything, but that’s what it’s all about. We’re all very respectful of each other.”
Council is expected to deliberate on whether and how to fill the vacant seat until this year’s November election.
