Easter activities set for this Saturday

On Saturday, April 8, Bandera County will transform into an Easter extravaganza. Easter Egg Hunts and events will take place from Lakehills to Bandera, all spaced apart for energetic parents who want to bunny bounce from one to the other.
~ The first-ever Easter Parade will take place at Bandera City Park. Registration opens at 9 a.m., the parade begins at 10 a.m. Awards will be given to the Best Easter Bonnet, Best Easter Fedora (Hat), Most Creative and Best Dressed Pet.
~ An Easter Egg Hunt will follow the parade at the First Baptist Church of Bandera, 1302 Pecan Street. The hunt begins at noon.
~ A scavenger hunt and special visit with Olivia the Dinosaur will take place at 1 p.m., at the Bandera Natural History Museum, 267 Old San Antonio Road, Bandera.
~ A Children’s Easter Party and Egg Hunt will begin at 2 p.m., at the Lakehills Community Center, 11225 PR 37. The hunt, for ages 1-12, will take place at 2:30, festivities will continue until 5 p.m.
