Bandera Natural History Museum hosts dino egg hunt
Adding its own prehistoric twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt, the Bandera Natural History Museum enlisted the help of its guests to locate a nest of missing raptor eggs.
Olivia, the museum’s velociraptor mascot, made a special appearance on Saturday, April 8, to thank those who returned her 11 eggs that had somehow been scattered along the grounds. She spent about 20 minutes posing with friends before her handler Thomas Schaefer walked her home. Visitors then participated in a scavenger hunt throughout the rest of the day for a small Easter surprise.
