By Jessica Nohealapa’ahi
The Bandera Prophet

Nurse Practitioner Lacy McMillon began her healthcare career in 2007, when she served patients as their bedside nurse. Eight years later, she completed her advanced education and experience to become certified in both family and emergency medicine.
Well known and regarded after providing healthcare to a loyal patient base in Bandera County, McMillon relocated her services earlier this year to open her own clinic in Kerrville, celebrating a grand opening on May 15. She resides in Bandera County with her husband and three beloved dogs, one of which serves as an emotional support animal at the clinic.
A certified family nurse practitioner, McMillon, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C, has qualifications to provide medical service for routine health, acute and chronic disease, urgent care, illness and minor injuries, as well as hormone balancing and aesthetic medicine. She recently completed lab training at the American Aesthetic Institute in Austin.
McMillon is still working on contracts with varied health insurance companies, but for now, she has finalized with traditional Medicare, Aetna, and the Blue Cross Blue Shield network, including Blue Advantage HMO, Blue Essentials, Medicare Advantage HMO, Blue Choice PPO, Health Select, Medicare Advantage PPO, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, and WellMed MA HMO. Contact the office for information on other payment options.
McMillon will celebrate a ribbon cutting with the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 14, at noon. 830 Wellness, Family and Specialty Medicine, is located at 2210 Bandera Hwy., Suite C-2. Appointments are available in person and via telemedicine. Call or text 830-208-0588, or go to www.830wellness.com for more information.
