Bandera High School graduate ranked 4th nationwide on Shooting Sports Team
Coleton Trenkelbach graduated from Bandera High School in May, being ranked 9th in his class. He was one of four competitors making the National Shooting Sports Team for the state of Texas in the shotgun discipline for 2023.
He competed this past June in Nebraska against 42 other states in three disciplines. His shoot-offs (tie breakers) awarded him 5th in sporting clays and 10th in skeet, individually. Team Texas however, took 4th in trap, 1st in skeet and 1st in sporting clays, which awarded them National Champions in shotgun.
Coleton is now ranked 4th over all individually in the nation. His shooting career is not over just yet. He is looking to join the shotgun team at Texas A&M University this fall.
