Medina Lady Cats win annual Volleyball Tournament

A perfect 4-0 weekend record and the Medina Lady Cats earn the Tournament Championship at the annual Medina Lady Cat Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26. The round-robin tournament format saw the Lady Cats victorious over Center Point, Kipp U, Lackland-Stacey and Atonement.
“We fought hard to win first place,” defensive specialist Audrey Gatlin said. “I’m excited for the rest of this season with my team and to see what all we will accomplish.”
Senior Autumn Turner and Sophomore Gatlin were named to the All-Tournament team. Junior Hallie Kunz earned tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
