Wharton’s Dock Road trash pick-up set for Saturday
On Saturday, Sept. 30, volunteers will gather to pick up trash along Wharton’s Dock Road. The organized effort will begin at 8 a.m., and end at noon.
The trash pick-up route will start at the cell phone tower, and follow along Wharton’s Dock Road to the intersection of Rodeo Road. Volunteers are asked to meet at the cell phone tower on Wharton’s Dock Road, wearing bright-colored clothing, closed toe shoes, gloves and a hat, and bring water.
Those wil trash pickers are asked to bring them, otherwise they and all other supplies will be provided. Pick-ups, trailers and ATVs are needed. Those planning to attend and help are asked to RSVP by text to Dan Wethor, at 830-688-1008.
