8th Grade A Team
Your 8th Grade A Team traveled to Uvalde, Monday, Sept. 11. We struggled to shake off some really tough serves in the beginning and allowed the Lady Lobos to gain some cushion. We lost game 1, 17-25. Still a bit anxious and unsure, the girls soon trailed. Your Lady Bulldogs put up a strong fight and were able to come back and take the set 25-23. Set 3 showed no less. These young ladies continued to persevere and came out on top 15-12. With last-minute lineup changes, these girls were able to adapt and they showed that volleyball is a skill about mental toughness and together they can get through anything.

8th Grade B Team
In a thrilling volleyball match last night, the B team put up an impressive fight, despite ultimately falling short in a three-set showdown. The first set was a high-octane affair, with Olivia Walker and Leighann Spangler leading the charge by serving aces left and right, catapulting the team to an early victory. Their incredible serving skills kept the momentum going and electrified the atmosphere in the gym. However, the opposing team managed to regroup and clinch the next two sets. Although the B team didn’t secure the win, the players showcased their resilience and potential, making it a game to remember.
