Pre-election community meeting set for Oct. 1

A pre-election community meeting will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2:30 p.m., at the Lakehills Community Center.
Candidates for Bandera City Council and the Bandera ISD Board of Trustees have been invited; and information on the Bandera ISD $40 million bond proposal, and the proposed changes to the Texas State Constitution will be presented.
The Community Center is at 11225 PR 37, Lakehills.
Early voting will begin Monday, Oct. 23, and end Friday, Nov. 3. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
