With October right around the corner, thoughts are turning to pumpkin patches, favorite fall lattes and All Hallow’s Eve. In Bandera, the Marshal’s Office has begun preparation for the Nightmare on Maple Street Halloween extravaganza.
Held annually in Bandera City Park on Oct. 31, Nightmare on Maple is the spookiest community and family event of the season. Trunk-or-treating, bounce houses, costume contests, snow cones, face painting, entertainment, games and more are already on the itinerary. Awards will be given to the funniest, scariest, best overall and best business trunks.
The event, which is free, will begin at 6 p.m., and end at 8 p.m.
To participate, sponsor or make a donation, call Marshal Nancy De Foster at 830-460-7172.
