Christian Job Corps announces new programs

By Sabrina Van De Walle
Christian Job Corps

We have some exciting things going on at CJC in Bandera County. We are in our 9th and last evening session of Jumpstart 2023.
On Saturday, Sept. 30, the CJS will celebrate the most recent graduate of the day program Pathways. Christa Popham is ready to volunteer and reach another SMART Goal in her life.
We are excited to begin our first session in the Bandera County Jail on Oct. 2. Reach out to [email protected] for updates regarding the Jail Ministry.
Beginning Oct. 17, every Tuesday for five weeks, we will host Agri-Life Nutrition Program, in partnership with Kimberly Magness - Public Health and Prevention Specialist Department of State Health Services, and Jessica Stapper Faubion - CEA-FCH Bandera County Texas A&M AgriLife. This program is offered for free and is open to the community. Call Sabrina to register 830-326-1457.
On Nov. 4, we will have volunteer training for our 2024 sessions. All interested volunteers may complete our Volunteer Inquiry Form at https://cjcboerne.org/get-involved/ .
