Grassie advances to State Cross Country

Medina Junior Ahnika Grassie advanced to the State Cross Country Championships to be held on Friday, Nov. 3, in Round Rock. Grassie placed in the top 10 individuals at the Region IV Cross Country Meet in Corpus Christi on Monday, Oct. 23, to earn this honor.
Bobcat football also had a great week improving their record to 8-1 on the season. After a long day of traveling to McDade, the Bobcats took care of business quickly to complete the game at half by mercy rule by a score of 54-8. The Bobcats will travel to Nueces Canyon on Friday, Nov. 3, for their last regular season contest.
Lady Cat volleyball begins play in the Texas State Playoffs this week. The Lady Cats will take on Runge for the Bi-District contest on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 6:30 p.m., at Charlotte High School.
