HCS Children's Choir joins Bethlehem
By Jessica Nohealapa’ahi
The Bandera Prophet
Walk Through Bethlehem Under the Stars in Lakehills on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15 and 16. On Saturday, the Hill Country Samaritans Children’s Choir will perform during the presentation of The Three Trees.
Bethlehem was a small town less than seven miles from Jerusalem. It had busy streets filled with people, shops and homes, along with camels, donkeys, sheep and goats. The city will be recreated with live animals, and volunteers dressed in period costumes who will interact with the community. Hot drinks and snacks will be available, and a Mediterranean-style food truck will have meals for sale.
Walk Thru Bethlehem will take place on the grounds of the Lakehills Community Center, from 6-8 p.m. On Saturday, the Children’s Choir will perform at 6:30 p.m. The non-denominational event is free for all.
