League of Women Voters - Hill Country Texas meets Saturday in Kerrville

The League of Women Voters of the Hill Country Texas will meet Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Doyle Center, at 110 West Barnett, in Kerrville. League meetings are open to the public, visitors are welcome and there is no charge to attend. Social time for members, guests and visitors begins at 9:30 a.m. with light refreshments. The business meeting and the program begin at 10 a.m. If interested, but unable to attend in person, the meeting is available on Zoom by contacting the League at the following: [email protected].
The program will include "Voting Plan 2024" with details on efforts to prepare voters for local and national elections in 2024. Voter Services Chair Bunny Bond, and Civics Education Chair Heather Farmer will review the nuts and bolts of assembling the voter guides and information that encouraging registered voters to participate in the scheduled elections.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan and nonprofit civic organization encouraging informed and active participation in government and does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office. Anyone aged 16 and older can become a member by paying the annual dues. The Hill Country Texas League serves six counties: Bandera, Blanco, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Llano.
