Bandera debate team advances to UIL Congressional State Meet

This past weekend, the Bandera High School Academics, Speech and Debate teams competed at the Medina Valley invitational against 29 other schools.
Individual congratulations go to:

~ Vanessa Perez - 3rd place spelling
~ Edyn Knudtson - 4th place ready writing, 5th place editorial, 3rd place copy editing
~ Carter Rissmiller - 1st place news writing
~ Alyssa Ruch - 3rd place LD debate
~ Savanah Venegas - 7th place Informative Extemp, 1st place Prose
~ Steven Koonce - 2nd place Informative Extemp, 2nd place Poetry

~ 2nd place computer science team:
Sarah Guajardo, Nick Morales, Alec Smith, Sammy Bottoms
