Open your heart and home to a furry companion - become  a volunteer pet foster hero today

Bandera City Marshal’s Office

Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the life of an animal in need? Join us in our mission to provide temporary homes for pets awaiting their forever families.
Our Pet Fostering Program is calling out to compassionate individuals or families eager to offer love, care, and a safe haven to adorable furry friends. By becoming a pet foster, you can make an immense impact on the lives of these animals:
Help a pet transition from shelter life to a warm, loving home environment. Provide comfort and stability while they await adoption. Experience the joy of nurturing and seeing their personalities blossom. Make a difference that will last a lifetime - both for you and your foster pet.
No prior fostering experience necessary. We provide support, supplies, and guidance throughout the fostering journey. Whether you have a cozy apartment, a spacious house, or a big heart full of love, you can make a difference.
Join our foster family today and be a part of something truly rewarding. To learn more and start your fostering adventure, contact the Bandera City Marshal’s Office at 830-460-7172, Eileen Loflin (volunteer foster coordinator) at 325-829-4513, or email [email protected].  Reach out now to begin your foster journey and transform a pet's life.
