Medina FCCLA advancing to State

Medina FCCLA participated in their Regional Competition and Leadership Conference on Friday, Feb. 2, in Corpus Christi. The day was a true success for Medina students with eight students advancing to the State contest and one student being elected as a Regional Officer.
~ Will Derry, Kytlin Peterson, and Gabe Bower – State Qualifiers (Food Innovations)
~ Cody Swinney, Charles Baker, and Nick Lichtenberg – State Qualifiers (Sustainability)
~ Kailey McCabe and Audrey Gatlin – State Qualifiers (Sports Nutrition)
~ Ella Castillo – Elected Region V Vice President of Public Relations
These students will compete at the State Competition on April 12-14, in Dallas.
