Medina honors senior basketball players

Medina Athletics honored their senior basketball players and parents on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Shelby Jilek, Kytlin Peterson, Autumn Turner, Gabe Bower and TJ DeLeon were presented tokens of appreciation from their teammates for their commitment and dedication to the Medina basketball program.
In game action, the Bobcats defeated D’Hanis 56-51 Friday night to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The team’s last game of district basketball competition is Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Utopia, when they will try to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2018-2019 season.
