Bandera High School Speech and Debate team competes at Hays UIL Tournament

The Bandera High School Speech and Debate team had a great day at the final invitational meet of the year held at Jack C Hays High School. This marks the end of the invitational season, which started in September.
The team will compete at NSDA District next weekend in Harlingen for a chance to go to nationals, and at UIL District in April at Wimberley High School.
Individual awards went to:
~ Steven Koonce - 5th place Poetry, 5th place Informative speaking
~ Micah McCreary - 7th place Informative speaking, 1st place Lincoln
Douglas debate. This is the second back to back gold medal finish for McCreary.
