Fundraiser helps veterans and first responders Ride and Rise Above out of the darkness of depression

The 9th annual Ride & Rise Above benefit is set for Saturday, April 27. The money raised will be donated to local non-profits that provide direct assistance to veterans and first responders who suffer from PTSD and depression.
Ride registration begins at 9 a.m., at the Gravity Check Saloon. Cost per rider is $25, and includes a T-shirt. Kick Stand Up at 10 a.m. Live music, food and drinks will be served after the ride. Opening ceremonies and a live auction will begin at 1 p.m.
Following the Ride & Rise Above, the 2nd annual Gone But Not Forgotten Run Memorial Day Weekend Motorcycle Ride will take place May 25. Kick Stands Up at 12:30 p.m., at the Red Horse Saloon in Bandera. The approximately 120-mile ride will make three stops, honoring fallen warriors.
