Carl David Teague Sr.
January 6, 1941 - March 17, 2024

Carl David Teague Sr., 83, of Bandera, Texas, went to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 17, 2024. David was born Jan. 6, 1941, to parents Calvin George Teague and Octavia Genell Ward in Westfield, Texas.
He was a member of the Choctaw Nation and was very proud of his Native American Heritage. David enjoyed the outdoors and raising cattle. David worked a variety of different jobs throughout his life, such as a cedar chopper, truck driver, oil rigger, rancher, and in his younger years worked on a dairy farm.
David is preceded in death by both of his parents, Calvin George and Octavia Genell, as well as brothers James Milton Teague, Jasper Calvin Teague, Cecil Teague, Marshall Teague, Charles Ora D. Teague, Bennie Lee Teague, Joe Teague, and Daniel Teague; sisters Betty Pearl Jalufka, Mary Alice Hagan, Genell Teague, and Jenny V. Marchand.
David is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Kalka Teague (married for 56 years); sons Mark Bradford and wife Ruth, Carl David Teague Jr. and daughter Shanna Nicole Teague Nebgen; grandkids Sammie Mark Bradford III and wife Kylie, Tia Renee Moore and husband Marshall, Nicole Nebgen and Hunter Nebgen; seven living great grandchildren and two deceased; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
