Medina Baseball claims victory over Menard

Bobcat baseball began district play in Menard on Friday, March 22, with a win. Medina bats started slow in the first inning, but came in strong in the following innings to seal the victory by 10-run rule at the conclusion of the 5th inning.
The final score was Medina 22, Menard 2. Senior Branson Wickham led the offense hitting two 3-run home runs in the contest.
Medina High School sophomore Allison Watts had a big weekend. She advanced, and will represent Medina at the Texas High School State Rodeo finals in the goat tying event.
