Medina ISD tennis brings home hardware

Medina High School tennis competed in a tough Knippa Tournament on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12. Kailey McCabe and Shelby Jilek placed 3rd in the B Girls Doubles bracket. Audrey Gatlin and Crista Zirkel came up short in the consolation championship for A Girls Doubles. Cody Boatman and Tony Silva placed 4th in the B Boys Doubles bracket.
Junior High Tennis took home some hardware from the District Tournament on Wednesday, April 10.
•Gaige/Mia - 2nd Place A Mixed Doubles
•Lia Andrews - 2nd Place B Girls Singles
•Paige Arnold - 3rd Place B Girls Singles
"Incredibly proud of these kids and all of their hard work this season! This is the future of Medina tennis right here!" Head Coach Carli Harlow said.
