Unofficial Primary Run-off Election Results

The unofficial results for the Primary Run-off Election for Bandera County sheriff are as follows:

BANDERA COUNTY SHERIFF
Daniel R. (Dan) Butts 1,193; 42.08%
Josh Teitge 1,642; 57.92%

Challenger Teitge rose to the top with more than 400 votes over incumbent Butts, who was first elected sheriff 12 years ago. The run-off received around half the voter turnout compared to the March Republican Primary Election, with 2,835 ballots cast.
Election results will become official after certified by Bandera County commissioners.
