LAST CHANCE: ATTEND A CRITICAL MEETING AND STOP THE PERMIT, OR WATCH TREATED SEWAGE CLOG OUR WATERWAYS.
MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND THE MEETING IN BANDERA ON MONDAY, AUGUST 26

With restricted water flow caused by the dam, downstream waters will not be able to heal themselves as nature intended.
A new FOR-PROFIT youth camp
in Bandera County has applied for a permit to dump wastewater pollutants into a creek, which would forever change the water downstream. A pollutant discharge permit like this has never been granted in the Nueces River Basin North of US 90, so if this is approved there will be more permits like this to come. There are other ways to dispose of wastewater
that do not harm the environment.

WE WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY
TO STOP THIS PLAN.

We need to turn out in force at the upcoming
TCEQ official public meeting in Bandera.
Make politicians, regulators and the camp owner accountable for what they are proposing.
We have to convince camp owners to use a
Land Application Permit to protect the water -
this is a ZERO discharge permit.
Many responsible area landowners handle wastewater
this way, and the camp operators use this method
at a camp they operate in Arkansas.
LET OUR REPRESENTATIVES KNOW YOU OPPOSE THIS PLAN.
