Two other Bulldogs were recognized by their peers for performances above and beyond and both are well deserved.
Receiving one of the individual honors was Tommy Cardenas, who was named as the 2019 District 13-4A Offensive MVP.
The other was not a suprise, with the amazing season the team had, and that was Bandera being named as one of the co-winners of the 2019 District 13-4A Coaching Staff of the Year.
Bandera had their first winning season in 10 years, going 8-3 overall, while making the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
